Midget players represent Weyburn

Local Midget baseball players are taking their skills on the road.

Members of the Southeast “AAA” Midget Royals Garett Walbaum and Kristopher Keating have been picked up by the Saskatoon Cubs, host team of the Western Canadian Midget Championships on August 19.

Currently, team members Walbaum, Eric Evans, Tyler Kendall and Brandon Radmacher are in Saskatoon training for Team Saskatchewan. They are representing the province at the Canada Cup Tournament, which began in Kindersley on August 11.
