Getting kids off the sidelines

The Weyburn Canadian Tire is seeking applicants to its Jumpstart program.

Jumpstart is a community-based charitable program that helps children aged 4 to 18 participate in organized sports and recreation such as hockey, dance, soccer and swimming.

Last year, Canadian Tire Jumpstart helped over 65,000 children in financial need participate in organized sports to help them develop important life skills, self esteem and confidence. In Weyburn, Jumpstart has helped 245 children since 2007.
