Day and weekend camps for Bible camp

The Estevan Bible Camp (EBC) will be offering a pair of day camps and a weekend camp this summer.

Squirt camp for ages six to nine will run from July 10 to 12 at Living Hope Community Church. Sessions will be from 10 a.m. to 4:30 p.m. each day.

Junior camp will run from July 17 to 19, also at Living Hope. It will be from 10 a.m. to 5 p.m. daily.

EBC spokesperson Michael White said participants in the squirt and junior camps will enjoy games, crafts, swimming and chapel services.

An overnight teen camp for youth ages 13 to 16 will run from July 20 to 22. Time will be spent at the Kenosee Superslides, the Kenosee Bible Camp and the Estevan Alliance Church.

This is the second straight year that the EBC has offered day camps. Last year they were forced to scrap their summer camp schedule when the Souris River flooded their grounds at Rotary Park inside of Woodlawn Regional Park.

Due to the ongoing flood recovery at Woodlawn, the EBC still isn’t able to use their buildings inside the park, and so they’re again hosting day camps and the weekend camp.

White said some registrations have come in already, and there is still room for more children in the camps.
