After a three week selection camp in Montreal, Lenferna secured selection to the Canadian Men's Junior Water Polo team that left for a training camp in Europe on July 22.
Lenferna was selected along with two of his Team Saskatchewan teammates, Brendan Bill of Estevan and goalie Drake Greschner of Regina. The three boys will spend a week each in Zeist, Netherlands and Barcelona, Spain training first with the Dutch Junior team and then the Spanish Junior team in preparation for the XVII Pan American Junior (U19) Men's Water Polo Championships. The championships will be held in Montreal from August 10 - 18.
