Wild take a close one from Lampman

On February 1, the Weyburn Midget Qmax Wild travelled to Lampman. After the first period, the Qmax was ahead 2-1. After two periods of play, the Qmax expanded the lead to a score of 4-2. In the third period, the Lampman Imperials made a strong comeback to win the game by a final score of 6-4. Scoring for the Qmax were Cole Bourassa, Terrence Miller, Konrad Proszak and Steven Speers. The goal tender was Dustin Dreis.

On February 2, the Qmax Wild travelled to Redvers. The Redvers Rockets defeated the Qmax by a score of 5-0. The goaltender was Chase Ryan.

On February 3, the Lampman Imperials travelled to Weyburn for a weekend rematch. At the end of the first period, Lampman had a lead of 2-0. After the second period, the score was 3-2 for Qmax. In the third period, the Imperials tied up the game. With 39 seconds remaining in the third, Qmax scored to win the game by a final score of 4-3. Goals for Weyburn were scored by Terrence Miller, Konrad Proszak, and two by Nick Zerie. The goaltender was Chase Ryan.

The Qmax Wild have three games left to play in regular season. Their next home game is scheduled for Sunday, February 17 at 7:15 against Kipling in the sports arena.
