LaBatte teams up with BBBSW

Planning is well under way for the first annual Curl For Kids Sake at the Weyburn Curling Club.

The event is scheduled for March 9 and is the one and only fundraiser of the year for Big Brothers Big Sisters of Weyburn.

Curling teams are encouraged to contact the BBBSW office and request a curling package. In it there will be further details about the evening events and pledge forms for curlers.

"We have some great stuff going on during our evening, including an appearance by Saskatchewan Roughrider, Brendon LaBatte," said Sharla Sept, Executive Director of BBBSW.

Teams are encouraged to dress up in green and white and curl for a great cause. Curling times are one-hour intervals, beginning at 6:30 p.m. Curlers are encouraged to get their teams together and choose their curling time as soon as possible.

To register, contact the BBBSW office at 842-4050 or email sharla.s...@bigbrothersbigsisters.ca.
