The second half of the McLeod Series took place in Estevan. Weyburn won the first two games handily and carry an 88 point cushion into the final two games.
This weekend the girls are in Melville and the boys in Estevan for the start of the SHSAA provincial playdowns. Two teams in each category will advance to regionals, which will be held on March 15 and 16. Hoopla takes place in Saskatoon on March 22 and 23.
March 14 there will be 3-way conferencing of students, teachers and parents. The student is to arrange with their SAS teacher a convenient time for their parents and themselves to meet to discuss the progress of the student.
Weyburn Rotary Music Festival vocal events are scheduled to take place at the school next week.
