We discuss this topic every day, then it's another snow blow and we start all over. When will the big thaw happen? Thankfully, we take it in stride, people go to work every day and the roads get opened up, the people at Timmy's have the coffee ready at the drive-thru window in spite of the weather conditions. Yeah, hooray, life is good. We need to be thankful for the people who have to brave the elements and keep the roads plowed, the grocery stores open with stock on the shelves, papers printed so we know what's going on in our city. THANK YOU to all who do a great job EVERY DAY. The next time you pass by, tell someone thank you and make their day as well as yours!!! It's the same thing in this Easter season, and the reason for it. I don't want to burst your bubble but it's not about the Easter bunny!!! This season is actually passover where anyone who had the blood of a lamb sprinkled on their doorways, the death angel skipped over their household and the oldest son was spared and not killed. It was a shadow of things to come for us, in that Jesus Christ would die and shed His blood for us and that if we chose to accept His sacrifice on the cross for us, the death angel will pass over us. I am very grateful for Jesus doing that for everyone, and all we have to do is make the choice and substitute His sacrifice on the cross for us. Romans 10:9-10 says that if we believe in our heart and confess with our mouth that Jesus Christ was raised from the dead by God, you shall be saved. In other words, just like the blood of a lamb was used to have death pass over them, we use the blood sacrifice of Jesus Christ to pass over us, and it just takes belief in our hearts that God did what He said He did. I don't know about you, but I am thankful every day for what Jesus has done for me. Take a look around you see what you can be thankful FOR. It causes a change to occur in you, and yes, this winter will end. I can guarantee you that by July 1st, all the snow will be gone!!!
