Filipino Community to hold earthquake relief dinner

Bohol was struck by an earthquake that registered 7.2 on the Richter Scale on October 15, 2013, the deadliest earthquake to hit that area in 23 years.

The Weyburn Filipino community is holding an Earthquake Relief dinner on Sunday, November 10 at 5 p.m. at McKenna Hall to show their support.

Donations will be sent directly to each Parish Church affected by the earthquake.

The program will include a slide show about the earthquake, the variations choir, songs by Onello Bahingawan, Filipino dancers and the Filipino choir.

As well, the menu will include Canadian and Filipino dishes and will be provided by the Filipino community.
