Big Brothers and Big Sisters gear up for Curl for Kids Sake

Comments

Rock the Rings like a Redneck is the first annual Weyburn Big Brothers Big Sisters Curl For Kids Sake at the Weyburn Curling Club on March 8.

Curling teams are encouraged to contact the BBBSW office and request a curling package. In the curling package are further details about the evening events and pledge forms for curlers.

"We have some great stuff going on during our evening , including our silent auction which items have been donated by Weyburn and area business owners", said executive director Sharla Sept.

Check out the Curl For Kids Sake Facebook page for a sneak peek at the items; again this year WestJet Cares for Kids has donated two return tickets for anywhere WestJet flies which is combined with 2-1 night stays at Weyburn's Microtel Inn and Suites.

"This is great package for anyone wanting a vacation/stay-cation," said Sept.

Curling begins at 6:15 p.m. and each registered team member will receive beef on a bun at the event along with being entered to win great door prizes.

Curlers are encouraged to get their teams together and choose their curling time as soon as possible.

To register contact the BBBSW office at 306-842-4050 or sharla.s...@bigbrothersbigsisters.ca.
