St. Mike’s introduces new principal


St. Michael School will have a new principal effective May 1.

Holy Family School District Director of Education, Gwen Keith said Richard Dittrick will replace principal, Chad Fingler who is assuming the position of Superintendent of School Operations and Research for the division.

Dittrick has a Masters degree from the University of Regina in Curriculum and Instruction. He has been a principal in Regina Catholic Schools for 14 years in both elementary and high school settings.

His largest principal ship involved support to 900 students and 100 staff. He also has been a very successful Arts Education consultant and high school chaplain.

Dittrick is an accomplished musician and has been actively engaged in his local parish in several leadership positions, is committed to student success and brings much energy, wisdom and creativity to his work.
