Inside the Weyburn art scene

Paintings and photographs are on display at all the art galleries in Weyburn this month.

"Inside/Outside", a collection of works by local artists Terry Creurer and Heather van der Breggen, winners of the 2013 Local Adjudication, is being held over by popular demand at the Allie Griffin Art Gallery until the end of May.

At the Weyburn Credit Union Art Gallery is "Colours of Costa Rica" a collection of photographs by Erin Graas. The photo collection depicts the two years she spent in this very colourful country. The "Colours of Costa Rica" is on display until June 30.

A stunning display of acrylics and watercolours by Saskatoon artist B. A. Conly called "Cranberry Flats - Any Day" will be on display at the Signal Hill Arts Centre. The display of art work celebrates the conservation area on the South Saskatchewan River just south of that city. "Cranberry Flats - Any Day" will be on display until June 23.
