Wheatland Senior Centre news


The Wheatland Senior Centre holds weekly activities. The following are the results of the activities held from April 27 to May 3:

Monday Bridge: In first place was Jim Brown, with second place to Basil Holyer, and Jean Janoski in third place.

Friday's Bridge ended with Chris Diemert in first place, second place was Berty Lou Dreis, and Kay Bachman in third.

Military Whist ended with Doreen Leslie, Shirley Sparks, Alice Schneider and Lavica Mahnke in first place, second place went to Phyllis Lindskog, Garth White, Janet Hanson and Arvella Soroka, with Marg Leavens, Kay Bachman, Elsie Hillrud and Ezella Gatzke in third.

Hi-Lo Whist first place winners were Basil Holyer and Kay Bachman, with Norm Lohse and Lorraine Tytlandsvik in second, and a tie for third Connie and Ray Boucher, and Leonard and Marge Schultz.

Canasta first place winner was Marlene Decker, with second place going to Kay Bachman, and Jean Knibbs in third place.

Kaiser saw Basil Holyer and Kay Bachman place first, with second place going to Jean Fahlman and John Schiller, and Roger and Marie Marcotte in third place.

Thursday's Crib saw first place go to the team of Howard Giroux and Basil Holyer, with second to Connie and Ray Boucher, and third place were Norma Lohse and Hilda Rohloff.

The O'Neil's are playing at the Tuesday afternoon dance on May 13 and Gerry Goski is playing at the Tuesday afternoon dance on May 20.
