The sixth edition of the Willow Bunch Farm Fest is being held July 19 and 20.
The country/folk music festival will feature Brad Johner and his boys, Hart Rouge, Heather Bishop, Anique Granger, Farm Soul Sisters, Roger Dallaire, Folle Avoine, Lianne & Gilles Fournier , and the hosting Campagne family.
"We have an amazing line-up this year that will add to the beautiful scenery, home cooking, prairie camping facilities and the many activities we have planned for the whole family," said artist and event organizer Annette Campagne. "We've been so fortunate to have volunteers and several key sponsors such as Conexus, Global, SaskCulture and the Sask Arts Board to host the festival: the sixth and best yet."
As one of Saskatchewan's most celebrated musical families, the Campagnes host this festival annually to highlight their French-Saskatchewan heritage as well as rural Prairie life and culture in general. The Festival is held on their family farm 11 km west of Willow Bunch.
On July 19, the schedule includes hay rides from 2 p.m. to 4 p.m., a barbecue feast from 5 p.m. to 7 p.m., the main show from 5 p.m. to 10 p.m. with an old-time barn dance and jam party to follow. On July 20, Farm Fest hosts a pancake breakfast with additional musical acts.
Tickets are $25 for general admission, $15 for youth aged 6-17 and children under 6 are free. Tickets are available online at farmfesterreferme.ca or by contacting acampa...@sasktel.net.
