Old Tyme dance returns to Wheatland


It's time to put on the dancing shoes with the return of the Wheatland Senior Centre Old Tyme Dance beginning Tuesday, September 2 with The McNeils providing the music.

The Friday Bridge tournament ended with first place going to Jim Brown, and in second place was Chris Diemert, with Theresa Istace finishing third.

In Trump Whist, first place went to Ezella Gatzke, while second place was Marg Leavens, and in third, Marie Marcotte.

Kay Bachman and Howard Giroux tied for first place with Norma Lohse and Lorraine Tytlandsvik in the Hi-Lo Whist tournament. Connie and Ray Boucher placed second.

The Canasta tournament results were Marlene Szczecinski in first place, with second going to Anne Gutzke, and Mildred Thompson in third.

The Kaiser tournament ended with first place going to the team of John Schiller and Jean Fahlman, with second place going to Dorothy Lacaille and Chris Diemert, and Harry Schiller and Joyce Hemphill in third place.

Thursday's Crib tournament saw first place go to Basil Holyer and Howard Giroux, second place went to the team of Della and Marge Schultz, and in third place were Jean Fahlman and Kay Bachman.
