Wheatland Senior Centre news


The Wheatland Senior Centre holds weekly activities. The results of the centre's activities from August 22 to August 28 are as follows:

Friday's Bridge tournament results were: in first place, George Gillies, second was Jean Knibbs, and third place winner was Chuck Widdis.

Monday's Bridge tournament saw Jim Brown in first place, with second to Mildred Sandiford, and third, Marion Brown.

Trump Whist first place winner was Susan Heaman, second place was Connie Boucher, and in third was Ezella Gatzke.

Hi-Lo Whist first place winners were the team of Andy Dumba and Jean Knibbs, with second place ending in a tie between Ella Hortness and Hilda Rohloff, and Bob Madigan and Doug Lupanko.

Canasta first place winner was Gerry Thompson, with second to Dorothy Cox, third place was Lillian Collins.

In Kaiserm, first place went to John Schiller and Keith Sprecken, with second to Fran Franks and Melba Bent, and Basil Holyer and Kay Bachman in third place.

Thursday's Crib tournament ended with first place going to Basil Holyer and Merle Leavens, second place to the team of Dale and Sheila Greiner, and in third, Connie and Ray Boucher.
