The Weyburn Comprehensive School’s Student Representative Council (SRC) will hold its community blitz to sell community cards on Monday, October 3 from 6 to 7 p.m.
Members of all the extra-curricular teams and clubs will fan out over the city to sell the cards for $20. This fundraiser is necessary to cover the ever-increasing costs to provide sporting and other opportunities for WCS students.
Some of the many discounts you can get from purchasing this card include a free touchless car wash and free barbecue chicken from Prairie Sky Co-op, a Canadian Tire gift card, food discounts at Subway, A&W, Brown’s Social House, KFC, Boston Pizza, Dallas Pizza and DQ and deals at other Weyburn businesses.
Residents are encouraged support students when they canvas on Monday.
