The best music from country, soul and rock-and-roll will be featured in a concert to be hosted by the Weyburn Rotary Club on Friday, March 23 at the Cugnet Centre.
The “Legends of Country, Soul and Rock-n-Roll” will be a presentation of Devra Straker and Friends, as they perform classic songs from a variety of genres that should appeal to people of all ages and musical tastes.
The concert will feature songs made famous by Patsy Cline, Willie Nelson, Sonny and Cher, Pavarotti and Friends, and many more. The concert is in support of the Rotary Club, which supports many groups and organizations in the community.
Tickets for this event are $35 each, and are available from Old Fashion Foods, Music Craft or Barber Motors.
The Rotary Club will also hold Lobsterfest in conjunction with the SRC at the Weyburn Comprehensive School on Saturday, May 12, and will be bringing the legendary “Sons of the Pioneers” on Saturday, June 23, which will include the son of Roy Rogers in concert.
