Weyburn United Way sets date for meeting

The Weyburn and District United Way will host their annual meeting on Wednesday, April 5. The annual meeting and roast beef dinner will be held at the Royal Canadian Legion Hall. Cocktails are at 6 p.m., and the supper is at 6:30 p.m.

The Weyburn and District United Way will host their annual meeting on Wednesday, April 5.
The annual meeting and roast beef dinner will be held at the Royal Canadian Legion Hall. Cocktails are at 6 p.m., and the supper is at 6:30 p.m. The annual meeting and entertainment will follow.
“During our annual meeting, the United Way will reflect on the successes of our 2016 Communithon, and feature some new exciting announcements for 2017,” said Sabrina Kraft, president of the Weyburn and District United Way.
“We present our financial report, president’s report, feature some special entertainment, and recognize the dedication of some retiring board members,” said Kraft.
She noted that the Weyburn and District United Way is looking for new board members for 2017. Anyone who is interested in becoming a board member can contact Laura Morrissette or Marlo Pritchard for more information.
Tickets are available at the Prairie Sky Co-op Weyburn grocery service desk for $20 each. A cheque can also be sent to: Weyburn and District United Way, Box 608, Weyburn Sask. S4H 2K7. The tickets will be held at the door.
