Concert-goers can look forward to a high-energy performance by the Hunter Brothers at the Cugnet Centre on Tuesday, March 6. These charismatic siblings, consisting of Luke, J.J., Ty, Brock and Dusty, will share their stories throughout the evening.

The Hunter Brothers are looking forward to showcasing the many connections that are shared between the communities of Weyburn and their hometown of Shaunavon. “Weyburn is a very welcoming place. We were greeted with a lot of hospitality the last time we were in the community,” said Ty Hunter.

“There are a lot of things that connect the communities. There is the hockey and the farming connections,” said Ty. He recalled that during his hockey-playing years in Shaunavon there were many road trips to Weyburn for a high-spirited game against the Weyburn team.

The Hunter Brothers will be in Regina this weekend, Saturday and Sunday, March 3 and 4, for Telemiracle. After that, they will come down to Weyburn for the concert on Tuesday. The Organization of Saskatchewan Arts Councils is presenting this concert, along with the Weyburn Concert Series.

There will be a wide variety of tunes performed during the concert, with some songs from their radio singles and their upcoming single on the playlist, as well as several cover songs.

The brothers grew up singing gospel with their family across Canada and the U.S. Having each played instruments, including piano and guitar, since pre-kindergarten, the Hunter Brothers brought their exceptional talents together and began to turn their hands to country music. “We like to have a lot of fun, and have a lot of energy on the stage,” said Ty. “There are a lot of crazy stories that we like to tell. We grew up all singing together, and have a great interaction with the crowds.”

Since their explosive launch, the brothers have shared their versatile harmonies and soulful sounds across Canada. Their brand new single and video, “Born & Raised”, is available now from their highly-anticipated debut album, “Getaway”.

Advance tickets for The Hunter Brothers concert are $30 for adults and $15 for child/student. Tickets are available at the Weyburn Review/ Weyburn This Week office, Music Craft and Old Fashion Foods.
