Pangman — The Pangman Library will hold a program called Save The Bees on Saturday, May 26. There people can learn about saving the bees and also make some fun crafts. This is sponsored by PJB Metke farms.
The Pangman library is looking for a bike rack for the library. If anyone has one to sale or donate, please call Robin Larson.
On the Mother’s Day weekend, Kelly Clifton and her daughter Jayme visited with Kelly’s mom Valerie Heustis. While here they motored to Radville Marian home and visited with Kelly’s grandmother Vi Kessler.
The Ladies Auxiliary held a Mother’s Day tea at the Deep South Personal Care home on May 11 with many attending. A cake walk was held and a silver donation was collected. The Ladies Auxiliary will hold their June meeting on Monday, June 4, starting at 9:30 a.m. There will be no meeting held during the summer months. Meetings will resume in September.
A bridal shower for the future Stephanie Kessler (Matthew Kessler’s bride-to-be) will be held at the Pangman Community Centre on Saturday, May 26, starting at 2 p.m.
The Pangman Library held a superhero day with great attendance on May 12. The group did a word search, photo booth, and other games with snacks and treat bags handed out.
The Pangman Peaches fastball team hosted their first game of the season on May 16, playing against the Ceylon Devils, with the Peaches losing.
Pangman School Grades 1-3 students and their teacher walked to the Deep South Personal Care home on May 10 during the afternoon, where the classes read to the residents.
Word was received on May 8 of the passing on Henderson Zieg, age 90, late of Regina. Henry and Evelyn married in 1958, and farmed by Parry and raised their family of five before they moved to Regina. A private family service will be held.
A baby shower for Dylan Froh-Siwy (Nancy Froh) will be held at Khedive on Sunday, June 3, starting at 2 p.m. Everyone is welcome to come and meet the little bundle.
