Brett Berkner was recently introduced as the new manager for the Weyburn Curling Club.
Berkner will replace present manager Glenn Tollefson, who is retiring from the position after 26 years of being the manager. The announcement was made at the Curling Club’s annual general meeting on June 20.
The Weyburn Curling Club board of directors would like to wish Glenn all the best in any future endeavors and would like to thank him for all his years of service.
Brett Berkner is presently the Weyburn Golf Club manager and will be doing both roles going forward this fall.
The Weyburn Curling Club felt that this will be a great fit for Berkner as both the golf and curling is seasonal and works well for him professionally and personally.
