Reader responds to Arctic’s progress

What a very happy ending for a beautiful dog. Finding a great home after being at the brink of death due to an animal abuser. I just pray to God that the animal that is most likely currently being abused by the same man in Ontario finds the same happy ending.  I have been told that a nation-wide warrant for animal abuse cannot be issued under the current embarrassing legal system in Canada. Why not let a man live in every part of the country, abusing animals, before bringing him to justice? This is Canada, where everything seems to be "just the way it is."

Canada is a fantastic place to live, especially if you are a criminal. Maybe the small percentage of the public that actually respect the enforcers of the law, could vote for some laws that would actually allow them to do their jobs.
